Vidya Balan gears up for Holi, “Coconut oil has always been my saviour”
Vidya Balan is known for her versatile roles and the way she carries herself through each character she plays.
With her gorgeous saree looks and those long wavy hair, she has always made a statement.
With celebrations in the air, the festival of colors brings along the worry for skin and hair too.
The beautiful actress shares her beauty secrets, favourite song, memory and delicacy with us.
Holi tip she swears by: By saying, ‘Bura Na Mano Holi Hai’, people have always grabbed on the opportunity to drench you in colours. While I absolutely love the festival, One has to be extremely careful of the quality of colours used as it can adversely affect hair and skin. The only way that I escape from the after effects of the Holi is by massaging good amount of coconut oil on my hair and skin before I step out to play. This has been my saviour since childhood.
Favourite Holi song: My favourite Holi song would be definitely “Rang Barse Bhige Chunarwali, Rang Barse”. When you think of Holi, you think of that song!
Favourite delicacy: My favourite Holi delicacy is Imarti.
Best memory: “Having bhang without knowing it was bhang and then laughing all day, this was I think when I was 16”, Balan exclaims with a laugh.
