Maa Bahen movie review
The latest Netflix offering Maa Behen has a running time of 2 hours and 7 minutes. At the outset, the title itself sounds like a cuss word commonly used in India. Can this movie be called a funny adventure? Was it about murder, or was it about kidnapping? The answer is none of the above. However, the movie's style is strictly raunchy. The plot revolves around a chain of events that unfolds over 48 hours in two contrasting houses (opposing in both location and social stature) within a gated colony. Guptaji (Ravi Kishen) occupies one house and has been wanting possession of the neighbouring house for years.

O Romeo movie review
This Valentine's Day offering O Romeo is produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and stars Vishal Bhardwaj's favorite Shahid Kapoor who is paired with Tripti Dimri and the third pivotal character is Avinash Tiwary. While Tamannaah Bhatia also makes a special appearance alongside Nana Patekar. O Romeo is a black film, quirky and at times depressing all throughout it's run of almost three hours. It isn't a bad film but it depends on one's taste of movies. Based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi and it draws inspiration from real life. Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani too are in special appearances. The film is about Afsha (Tripti Dimri) who decides to avenge her husband Mehmood Qureshi's (Vikrant Massey) death through Jalal (Avinash Tiwary). Set in Nepal, highlight of the film is a splendid bullfight in Spain. As a gritty crime drama steeped in crime and gore, the film ....

Dhadak 2 movie review
Dhadak 2 is a love story? Nah! It is a poignant conversation on privilege and what it means to have or not have it. Dhadak 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film by Shashank Khaitan and an official adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (also the name of the male protagonist) by Mari Selvaraj that sheds light on caste based atrocities (we have left discrimination in the rearview mirror at this point). Within the first 5 minutes of Pariyerum Perumal, Mari Selvaraj shows you just how raw and real this journey is going to be. He does not hold back on the gut-wrenching, bone-chilling imagery (something that is seldom, if at all, seen in mainstream Indian cinema) that is not for the faint of heart. But that is the reality we live in, and he serves it right back, reminding us of the cruelty we have constructed in the name of society. Not only is the screenplay in on Mari†....
