Produced by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra and his brother Dinesh Malhotra have produced this arty romantic film that is directed by Vibhu Puri. The Diplomat - Hindi movie review
Kudos to John Abraham for producing and his realistic portrayal in The Diplomat, a film based on true events of kidnapping of an Indian woman to Pakistan and her struggles for seeking repatriation to her motherland. It's Sadia Khateeb who shines in this political thriller, while John Abraham has grown up a step higher in his acting profession, without any display of his macho image.
John plays the Deputy High Commissioner of India in Pakistan and truly succeeds in displaying diplomacy and personal conflicts of the character's role (Indian Dy High Commissioner) that of a father, a team leader and a high level Indian Diplomat. The Family Man Season 2
The much awaited and delayed series - The Family Man Season 2 from Raj and DK which set the OTT agog last year with its Season 1 with its superior storytelling and screenplay is here on Amazon Prime in its Second Season. Though it was shot as a web series, one always felt that The Family Man was cinema. After its stupendous success people were clamoring for the sequel series and though delayed it did not disappoint. In the words of the lead man Manoj Bajpayee, 'The new season is definitely bigger and better', that about sums up what to expect from the Season 2. Varanasi (Benaras) is the backdrop of Nakkash which is actually an offbeat film that succeeds in conveying the writer-director's message that the supreme power, whether you call it as God or Allah; it doesn't differentiate between religions. There are dialogues such as Bhagwan is Allah's brother and the other one is that spoken by the protagonist - to have been born in the holy city of Varanasi is in itself a privilege.
