Kaabil, movie review
Rohan Bhatnagar (Hritik Roshan) meets Supriya (Yami Gautam), they like each other and fall in love. They get married and life is full of roses, till one unfortunate day when a local goon and his friend misbehave with this made-for-each-other couple. This kickstarts the beginning of this happy couple's woes. Rohan and Supriya are specially abled (a blind couple) who understand each other through their sixth sense, like it is said that when an individuals are deprived with any of the 5 essential senses, the almighty always gifts them with a sixtn sense. Rohan is a voice-over artist, while Supriya is an independent working woman. The romance is shown blossoming in such a pattern that one tends to be a part of the story and begins to feel for them. Global Baba, movie review
Abhimanyu Singh plays a godman in this film which is based on spiritual babas of India. Global Baba is a social satire and craftily doesn't target any particular person or any religion. India could be the only country where hundreds of thousands of people (devotees) blindly surrender themselves to godmen. The film exposes such a godman who was once a hitman by the name Chillam Pehalwaan (Abhimanyu Singh) for a political party which used him as much as they could and once their dependence on him was over, they took the legal route of eliminating him in an enounter by Police Inspector Jacob (Ravi Kishan). Chillam Pehalwan manages to escape during the encounter but had taken 2 gun shots and was noticed in the nick of the moment by the saadhus on the banks of a river who nursed him to bring back to life. Ya Rab
The Quran does not approve of terrorism in any way, not a single verse in the Holy Quran supports terrorism. This is the message sent loudly (literally) through this action packed film Ya Rab. The film begins with a bomb blast in a court, where several innocent people are killed. It is a grim situation, the injured are rushed to the hospital, while the police arrive on the spot of the incident. ACP Ran Vijay Singh (Ajaz Khan) is in charge of the investigations, and then in the process of interrogation, it is clear that there are further strikes planned by the terrorists. The next target would be in Lucknow, and most of the film is centered in this city where Imran (Vikram Singh) and Amreen (Arjumman Mughal) are a happily married couple and Amreen is expecting a child.
