Hindi feature film ‘Womanhood’ poster launch
Producer Jeetendar Srivastav’s next film WOMANHOOD’s poster launch event was held at Hard Rock Cafe in Andheri West, Mumbai.
JAI SAIRAM MOVIES and DREAM SIXTEEN ENTERTAINMENT have collaborated to produce this film that is slated for around 40 days shooting beginning from 25th June in locations around Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri and Nepal.
Womanhood’s lead pair Manvir Singh (of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame) and Aksha Pardasany (actress of Yuvatha, Kandireega) spoke to FilmyTown that this film is a thriller that touches the subject of several issues that create a hindrance to the women. Sadly some of them are still in existence in the interiors of India.
Aksha Pardasany told FilmyTown, “My character reflects every woman of today, though as culturally diverse our great nation is, still there are a lot of malpractices, and in our film ‘Womanhood’ we want to throw light on one such malpractice. The film carries a message that we want all the people to know about what is happening in our country, at the same time it will be a great entertainer.”
“Without hurting the sentiments of any person or community, Womanhood represents the woman of today and the message will be that today’s woman will not tolerate any oppression that is against the dignity of a woman,” Aksha Pardasany concluded.
Jeetendar Srivastav, the producer and director of the film WOMANHOOD had earlier produced ‘Life Mein Twist Hai’ and is also a well known professional model photographer. Noted choreographer Yugal Trivedi is the co-producer, Mukesh Sharma is the Director of Photography, Associate Director Himanshu Katiyar and the film is written by Virendra Singh. Abdul Qadeer is the PRO of Womanhood.
