Music of Crew creating records

It is the first time that an Indian film featuring 3 top heroines has fetched such an acclaim for the powerhouse performers Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Not only this, Crew has taken the box office by storm, surpassing expectations and setting a new milestone as the largest worldwide opening for an Indian movie led by women.

But it is not just the film; the airwaves are abuzz with the enchanting melodies of the film’s music. It has proven to be a musical success for Tips Music, which is the IP owners of the music in the film Crew. The album features three iconic 90s recreations from Tips’ catalogue – Choli Ke Peeche (Khal Nayak), Ghagra and Sona Kitna Sona Hai (Hero No. 1).

The album also features the second-biggest collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah on the song – Naina. The soulful voice of Diljit and Badshah’s on-point rap adds depth to the composition. Naina has proven to be a chart-topping hit by being a constant feature on the Trending section on YouTube and Spotify’s Charts since it was released. In addition to the milestones, the album debuted on the Global Charts of Spotify at no #8.

But the success of Naina does not stop there with over 480 Million+ views on reels and counting. The song has taken social media by storm, trending across all platforms. The song received support from celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Nimrat Khaira, Amana Sharif and more.

Three songs from their latest release, the highly anticipated film CREW, have secured coveted spots in AirCheck’s Top 20 Most Frequently Played Songs on Radio in India for the week of March 25 – 31, 2024. Leading at the prestigious no. #1 position is the chart-topping track Choli Ke Peeche, followed by Naina at no. #9 and the iconic remake Ghagra at no. #15.

Other bangers from the album include Vishal Mishra’s peppy track – Kiddan Zaalima and B Praak’s heartbreak song – Darbadar. It also featured new-age artists to create fresh music like Bharg’s Khwabida and Surshti Tawade’s rap in Ghagra.
