Coming from an army background & having done theatre, the new big thing Kavitta Verma begins her Bollywood journey with Policegiri, in a special dance sequence with our very own Sanju Baba.
We all are aware of Sanjay Dutt’s extension before surrendering to complete few scenes of his film Policegiri where he shot for the special dance sequence with Kavitta Verma.
Narrating the entire episode Kavitta exclaims, “Sanjay Sir left soon after the completion of the song sequence. I regretted the fact that I did not get enough time to talk to him. Before I could be more upset, he returned to the sets & to my surprise, he returned only to bid me good-bye.”
All smiles, Kavitta continues, “Sanjay returned, wished me good luck for my future projects & was all praises for my dancing skills. He bid me a good-bye. ”
Clearly remembering his words fresh in her mind she mentioned, “He said I am sorry, I forgot to say good-bye to you.”
Kavitta regrets the fact that Sanju Baba won’t be around during the release of the film.
She mentions, “Such a humble gesture coming from a man of such stature is overwhelming. He always brought new energy & life on the sets. I consider myself lucky.”
