Bhoothnath, movie review
It is believed that children have the strongest connection to God. In Bhoothnath, it is shown that they have the ability to perceive goodness in everything and everyone. It is believed a mother's love is selfless. But a child's love can transform relationships; it comes with no expectations and no boundaries. Their love can make you believe in miracles. This is a story about a seven-year-old naughty yet innocent boy, who unknowingly turns a foe into a friend. The film is about Banku and his friend, Bhoothnath…about innocence, honesty and the pure love of a child. A story about a little innocence, a little playfulness, and a lot of emotions that will touch hearts. This is a story that will show adults to see the world through the eyes of a child… an angel, a creation of God. It's then that one will realize what a beautiful world they live in after all. Bhoothnath begins with ....

Pranali - movie review
Pranali - The Tradition is an issue based film. A little over an hour in duration, the debutante director Hirdesh Kamble's film talks about the Devdasi system which is still prevalent in certain parts of India. Definitely, a debatable topic here, which suggests the idea of giving legal sanction to such women who are practicing this age-old tradition in the name of God. The producer Nikhil Mathur claims that the centuries old Indian tradition of Devdasis exists even today in certain parts of India. After visiting several places in India where this tradition exists even today, he decided to make a film on this issue. Pranali, the film begins when a foreigner known as Judy comes across a prostitute named Pranali whose husband is writing a book on her life. Then the movie goes into flashback: In a famine hit poor village somewhere near the borders of Karnataka and Maharashtra, the p ....

Mr White Mr Black
Three cool women led by the go-getter Sandhya Mridul, Australian beauty Tania Zaetta and Miss Thailand Kamala Ning, highjack a truck which carries some diamonds and succeed in carrying off a complex diamond heist, in the process they kill the guards and the police escort. A well done action sequence in Mr White Mr Black, though appear to be "inspired" by the stunts of Matrix. This is the opening sequence in the film and the most impressive too. Suffering a heart-attack one morning, on his birthday, Joymohan (Anupam Kher) a professor in Kolkata, realizes that he needs to spend more time with his family. This incident prompts him to move to Mumbai to be with his son (Rajit Kapoor), daughter-in-law Rita (Divya Dutta) and grand-daughter Gargi (Avika Gor) and mend broken bridges of the past. Gopi (Suniel Shetty) a simple man arrives in Goa from his far away home town in order to hand ov ....

Anamika, movie review
Inspired from Daphne du Maurier's novel, Rebecca, which was brilliantly tailored into a Oscar-winning mystery film by Alfred Hitchcock, Anamika the film needs to be lauded for the attempt by the director Anant Mahadevan. Though it is inappropriate to compare to the old work of genius, it still could have been a little better than what has hit the screens now. Anamika. the film is about Vikram Aditya Sisodia (Dino Morea) who owns Gajner Palace in Rajasthan comes down to Mumbai for an international convention with a proposal to convert his palace into a resort. Vikram meets the youthful Jia Rao (Minissha Lamba) an orphan girl struggling to make ends meet as a part-time escort and tuition teacher. Jia plays his escort during his trip and the two fall in love. Vikram Sisodiya proposes to Jia in the course of a romantic dream sequence in Thailand and she is in high spirits about it. ....

Tashan movie review
Right at the start, a blood red convertible Mercedes races merrily through Ladakh's dusty terrain. This is what Tashan is about - The car swivels so does the radio nervously shuffle between AC/DC's Highway to Hell and Mukesh's rendition of Kabhi Kabhie. Huge canvas, beautiful landscape and then the car loses it control, breaks thru and goes down a lake…. Very impressive till now and one would expect that it will be the most thrilling 2 and half hours in the recent times of mediocre bollywood films. But it was disappointing. Debutant director Vijay Krishna Acharya is brilliant in a few scenes, has been supported by absolutely unbelievable stunts by Akshay Kumar and some truly exotic locales, but through the remaining parts of Tashan, it appears that Yash Raj Banner is experimenting with the Indian audience. They have done a quality job in the promos of this movie, so as in the ini ....

Krazzy 4, movie review
Jaideep Sen's directorial debut, which is produced by Rakesh Roshan is about four madmen having peculiar personalities, being taken out for a change, finally involved in a kidnapping plot. Krazzy 4 is the story of four mental patients - Raja (Arshad Warsi) who is temperamental, Daboo (Suresh Menon) who can't speak, Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan) is a cleanliness freak with a compulsive disorder for neatness. Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav) who thinks that he still lives in a bygone era of the pre-independence days. U me aur Hum movie review
Ajay Devgan makes an impressive debut as a Director with this touching tale of love. The film is based on most profound of human emotions in a story that is both tender and extremely moving. The film sets in a bizarre ambience for a charming journey right from the opening credits which are imaginatively designed inscribed with worldly love definitions. Ajay initiates his love story on a cruise-liner with his narrative which literally takes over to narrate a compelling story in the flashback mode. Ajay is a happy-go-lucky, fun loving man, till he comes across Pia and falls head over heels in love. She does not immediately reciprocate, although later on she falls for his charm. They get married and lead a happy life, but destiny has something else for them.
