A murder mystery cum thriller has finally been released. The Stoneman Murders keeps you glued to your seat. A serial killer stalks the streets of Mumbai by night, killing those who sleep on the pavements. It just the one which keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. The film is a mix of real life take on the serial killings of 1983 with a masterly touch of fiction added by the talented writers giving it a more sensational feel. Named as Stone Murderer since it talks about the horrifying terror on dark Mumbai streets, spread by a brutal killer who killed the people sleeping along the roadside by crushing their head with a stone. Billu, movie review
The film is a story of a simple ordinary man who led an extra ordinary life. Billu (Irfan Khan) is a meager barber - Bilas Rao Pardesi who lives in his Budbuda village with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two great kids Gunja (Mitali Mayakar) and Ronak (Pratik Dalvi). Life was bitter sweet... we can say more sweet than bitter. Nothing is going right for him. Jugaad, movie review
Jugaad, a film based on a real life incident is a hilarious take on the infamous sealing drive by the Municipal Corporation (MCD) that rocked New Delhi in 2007-08. The film is set entirely in Delhi and is shot at actual locations to lend authenticity to the proceedings. The victim – CEO of an ad agency owner has no way out of the impasse and thus tries to overcome it by resorting to temporary settlement is what we call ‘jugaad’. This happened to many families who were victimized by this drive and even won public sympathy even though they had entered into unauthorized constructions.
