Lamhaa, movie review
Lamhaa is a social-action thriller about the life of people of Kashmir valley, a story about terrorists and the Indian army’s fight against terrorism. An outright bold and frank approach at the multi-layered turmoil in Kashmir, having quite a few real-life references that simply sums up as a genuine film about a real problem. Fortunately, national award winning director Rahul Dholakis does not exploit the political situation for narrating this love story. Cinematographer Jamie Fowlds captures the natural splendor of Kashmir in its beauty and well so in its sinister shades. Lamhaa movie review... An unidentified ‘company’ controlled by local leaders, generating millions of unaccountable dollars for the benefit of politicians and even the bureaucrats in the Indian and Pakistani intelligence is likely to disrupt and possibly paralyze Kashmir. This company’s mission is to brain ....

Udaan, movie review
Udaan is the story of a school student who isn’t so happy going to his family during his vacation. This sensitive topic and its characters are handled with understanding and maturity. Director Vikramaditya Motwane’s film is not preachy as it may seem from its promos. A straightforward tale of a young boy and his relationship with his rigid father and helpless younger step brother told in the most simplistic way. Udaan movie review... Rajat Barmecha plays the role of an adolescent who has stepped into his teens and how he faces a tyrant father, a step brother he never knew existed and how he eventually breaks the shackles and frees himself from a world that's slowly suffocating him. After being abandoned for eight straight years in boarding school, Rohan (Rajat Barmecha) returns to the small industrial town of Jamshedpur and finds himself closeted with an authoritarian father (R ....

Red Alert, movie review
The launch of a worthwhile revolution has to have a foundation of clear-cut objectives. And where the aim itself is not defined, what is the point of just running a parallel government type organization in the name of revolution? Red Alert movie review... This will lead nowhere, as it is deceiving yourself and cheating your followers who have put their faith in you. Director Anant Mahadevan has come up with an outstanding movie Red Alert which is based on a true story. It has a slick narrative and has turned out to be an edge of the seat thriller, which honestly presents both the sides of the conflicting groups - administration and the naxalites. Even the men in uniform stand exposed, exploiting their powers especially when an innocent girl is seen by them as their prey. 'Red Alert: the War Within' is based on the true story of Narasimha (played by Suniel Shetty), a poor farm la ....

Milenge Milenge, movie review

But when its about finding that special person you're going to spend the rest of your life with, should you risk tempting fate with a test of that love or should you just embrace your destiny? Milenge Milenge movie review... Finally Milenge Milenge is released and its promos point out that this is Shahid and Kareena’s last film together. The film seems dated as it was shot much earlier and as Shahid and Kareena have separated 3 years ago in real life. Shahid Kapoor is Amit. He is your regular rich guy, who smokes, drinks and flirts with gay abandon. He takes life and affairs of the heart lightly. And by the time he realizes he actually loves Priya, its too late. She's left him and their love to the vagaries of fate. Kareena Kapoor is Priya. She's a die hard romantic, who believes that destiny and only ....
