Dhoom Dadakka, movie review
Dhoom Dadakka is about Mungilal (Anupam Kher) losing his standing as the top don of Mumbai at the All Asia Mafia Meet since he doesn't have an heir. This opens up the field for Mungilal's arch nemesis Fursat Lala (Gulshan Grover) and his son, Zac who meets the decided requirement of the bhais of All Asia Mafia Meeting. Way back in the 1970s, Mungilal was once a small time Bhai in Mumbai. Jignesh (Satish Shah) was his friend cum business advisor. That time the law-enforcing authorities turned the heat on crime, corruption and the Bhais in Mumbai, so these two fled to Bangkok. Established himself in Bangkok, Mungilal has become a don of Mumbai. Don Muthuswami, movie review
Ashim Samanta, marks his directorial debut with the film Don Muthuswami. The movie is funny at times and Mithun Chakraborty carries the film on his shoulders with his experience and seasoned understanding. Muthuswami (Mithun Chakraborty) comes to pay his last respects to his father who is on the deathbed. The father slaps Muthu and tells him that he has brought shame to the family by being a gangster and that he would die an unhappy man. The Don promises his father that he would give up his crooked ways and turn into a honest man, if that would keep him at peace. So begins the transformation from Don Muthuswami to Sir Muthuswami. Muthu the Don Muthuswami, orders his henchmen to continue working for him as domestic help instead of being gangsters. He engages a Hindi teacher Jaikishan (Mohit Raina) to improve his language. The master actor is back again with this bio-pic sports, drama playing the role of a Wrestling Champion Mahavir Singh Phogat who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Geeta is India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal in the 55 kg category while her younger sister Babita Kumari won the silver in the 51 kg category. Aamir Khan and the entire crew underwent taining for months for the wrestling sequences in Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari who earlier directed Chillar Party and Bhootnath Returns. Mahavir Singh Phogat was an amateur wrestler, forced to give up wrestling in order to obtain gainful employment. He was unable to win a gold medal for India and vows that his son will, one day. Do Lafzon ki Kahani is a mushy romantic fairytale idea of love, about sacrifice and depicts suffering for the sake of one's beloved. It begins well yet it has flashes of the cinema of ‘90s A romantic drama directed by Deepak Tijori is a remake of the 2011 Korean movie 'Always'. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani features Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. A gifted actor that he is Randeep Hooda comes up with yet another powerful performance. He is equally balanced by Kajal Aggarwal's acting as a girl who has lost her vision in an accident where she loses her parents.
