Bulleya and Galti Se Mistake singer Amit Mishra has now collaborated with Music Composer Apoorv Singh to release his latest Indie Pop track Daastan which is currently under Amazon Music’s top 20 new Hindi songs.
Bollywood playback singer Amit Mishra released his new age indie pop song ‘Daastan’ in collaboration with Music composer & lyricist Apoorv Singh. Daastan is beautiful combination of four genres Hip-Hop, Future House, rock &trans Music with Hindi lyrics which has not been done before in the industry. ‘Daastan’ has been brilliantly composed by percussionist, DJ Apoorv Singh, turned music composer. The track is released under the independent label “Apoorv Singh Music.
Amit Mishra is known for his Bollywood chartbusters including Bulleya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) ‘Galti Se Mistake’ (JaggaJasoos), ‘Tubelight’ (Radio), ‘Ding Dang’ (Munna Michael), ‘Fikar Not’ (Chhichhore’), ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ (Race 3) and many others.
Apoorv Singh is a multi-talented musician he started his musical journey from the reality show MTV Rock On Season 1, where he was the semifinalist, as a drummer. He then was part of India’s Got Talent Season 3, with band madhavas and later performed in Zee Saregamapa Little Champs as a drummer and a bandleader for KailashKher’s band Avdhu. Later he curated ‘The Apoorv Singh Show’. In this show, Apoorv performs as a DJ, Drummer, Percussionist and Rapper. The show includes acts like liquid, fire and powder drumming. Known for his expertise in the art, Apoorv is being invited across the globe to showcase his popular liquid drums act, where he combines music with an element of nature. He has been performing for over 10 year 800 shows, in 25 countries till date.
Speaking about the collaboration Amit said “This one is a proper new age song and I am sure will be loved by the new generation. I guess especially the electronic music lovers will connect to it as it’s a blend of alternative rock, house and futuristic trance. “Apoorv Singh is a brilliant musician and percussionist we have in our country. I was highly impressed with the production and composition of the track. The beautiful lyrics are also penned by Apoorvji I really liked it. I like to deliver the songs which have power in its vocals. I am sure the youth will like it. The team did a fabulous job with the song. In terms of production, YashPandey is the music producer, arrangement is done my Apoorv Singh, TosiefShaikh has done the mix & master of the track. The guitar is played by Rakshit Wesley from Armenia, entire team has done a fantastic work and that’s how Daastan was made.
To the same Apoorv Sing adds “Amit comes up with his ideas of making the vocals more beautiful and that I really loved about him. This is a crescendo track which starts with a low pace and goes full blast. The idea was to create something new as I love experimenting.
