Move over humans, during the coming week Bollywood will be taken over by ‘Ghosts’ scrambling at the Box office. It will be Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh’s horror comedy film ‘Oye Bhootni Ke’ clashing with Sanjay Dutt’s ‘The Bhootni’ – an intriguing event to watch out for.

The horror-comedy genre is heating up with the tremendous success of Stree and Bhool Bhulaiya sequels in the recent past, and now with a line up of horror comedy films to release in Bollywood.
So much so that now even the names of the films have begun to sound similar. While Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy’s horror comedy film ‘The Bhootni’ is releasing on April 18, 2025, there is another horror comedy film “Oye Bhootni Ke” featuring Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh is lined up to be released on April 25 in cinema halls.
With these horror-comedy flicks releasing back to back, expectations are being raised sky high to witness an electrifying competition with almost similar names.
Excitement is quite high with the team of Horror comedy film “Oye Bhootni Ke”. Though Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh Chakraborty had impressed the audiences in the past with his film Hunted, a horror film, it’s worth a wait to watch his debut into the horror comedy genre.
Produced under the banner of Vision Motion Films, apart from Mimoh Chakraborty, “Oye Bhootni Ke” also stars Aditya Kumar, Nikita Sharma, Diana Khan, Rohit Suryavanshi, Amit Sinha, Jitendra Yadav and Jeet Rai. This family drama is expected to be worth a watch for one and all in the family.
“I am optimistic that the subject of ‘Oye Bhootni Ke’ would catch up with the youth as the content is trendy, different and the film has a wonderful blend of humor and fear,” feels Ajay Kailash Yadav, the director who noted that his flick had been much in the news for long with such a catchy title.
“With the announcement of it’s release in the coming week, our team’s enthusiasm and confidence has picked up,” expressed Ajay Kailash Yadav further revealing that the films’s trailer and music launch would be a grand affair on the 7th of April. Such optimistic confidence was also echoed by the film’s producer Jaspal Singh P Ghunia who is certain of his film would succeed in entertaining the audience.
Produced by Jaspal Singh P Ghunia, Rajesh Shakya, Praveen Babbar Suryavanshi and Nitin U. Tiwari ‘Oye Bhootni Ke’s DOP is Naren Gedia, choreography by Raju Rai. While the film’s editor is Ashfaq Makrani, Asif Chandwani is the music director and the singers are Nakkash Aziz and Yasir Desai.
