Present at the exclusive screening of Diary of a Woman were the lead actor Marcel Schneider and the director-producer Simon Aeby who shared insights exclusively to Paresh B. Mehta at NFDC Film Bazaar in Goa.

Diary of a Woman is the story of a male who is so upset with the loss of his mother that at one point while clearing off his mother’s room, he comes up with his mother’s diary where she has recorded her happy moments while during her youth and particularly the episode of visiting night clubs dressed in her favourite red gown.

“My film follows Alex Darkley, a middle-aged teaches whose descent into suicidal insanity is triggered by his early childhood and he faces refusal and bigotry while living out his sexual ambiguity,” stated the writer, director and producer Simon Aeby.

“The sex change phenomenon is quite accepted in Switzerland and the European countries, while some mature viewers in India would actually develop deep feelings of the man turned into a woman. This is a natural phenomenon and it is well accepted in the West,” Simon Aeby  further noted.
