Vicky Kaushal’s special tribute to Indian soldiers at Zubaan’s music celebration party!

Vicky Kaushal, who will be seen playing an inspiring character in Mozez Singh’s coming-of-age musical, Zubaan, ensured that the music celebration event held on 19th February at the popular ‘Please Don’t Tell’ was one to remember, as he entertained the audience to the hilt.

Eagerly awaiting the release of Zubaan, Vicky is quite fond of music and also likes to rap. The talented actor performed a special rap dedicated to Indian soldiers while celebrating the music of Zubaan as he took to the stage along with his co-star Sarah Jane Dias and the movie director Mozez Singh who jammed to a couple of songs much to the audience’s delight.

It’s learnt that Vicky will now use his singing talent to create awareness about the importance of being well-mannered in cinema halls by coming up with a video that talk about etiquettes and manners one needs to follow while being in a theatre.

Vicky says, “I love listening to this genre of music and end up learning the lyrics of my favourite rap songs. I was asked to perform a rap song all of a sudden, and I managed to do it.”

“Mozez was pleasantly surprised. This was around the time he was conceptualising the video. It struck him immediately that I could convey the message by rapping instead of acting. I was happy to do it,” Vicky adds.

Break through director Mozez Singh who makes his directorial feature film debut with the coming of age, musical drama Zubaan is already being touted as a mega talent to watch out for, going by the rave reviews and the feedback pouring in from international film festivals.

Produced by Wave Cinema, Guneet Monga and Shaan Vyas of Sikhya Entertainment & Metamozez Entertainment, Zubaan, directed by Mozez Singh and featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sarah Jane Dias is scheduled to release 4th March 2016.
