PK - Hindi movie review
Its OMG! Oh My God revisited. PK is a satire on "God and godmen" with an unique narration, superb performances from the pivotal characters, yet is a lengthy film which stretches on the same issue of having called a 'Wrong Number' while seeking the almighty. The Managers of God have been again exposed in this film where an alien (resembling human race) comes to earth on his mission to survey the life and times of the inhibitants of this planet. It is not a futuristic or a sci-fi film, PK deals about the ordeals of the alien man who is clean hearted, doesn't tell lies, doesn't hurt anybody, has the ability to grasp the language within few hours of just holding hands of a human. Like the data being transferred from one hard disk to another. This person has the ability to adapt easily to the new surroundings. It beigns with a space ship hovering around the desert of Rajasthan, it lands an ....

Zanjeer is an action film directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood actor Ram Charan in the lead role as the cop, along with Priyanka Chopra an NRI on a visit to friends wedding in Mumbai, and a witness to a murder. Before we go further, if this remake is compared to the original Zanjeer (Amitabh and Jaya), then it would be wise to rate it as 2/5 stars. As there is no one to match the intensity and angry young man looks of Amitabh few decades ago. There should be no comparison with the 1973 film with the iconic Amitabh and Pran as Sher Khan. Watching the film as the new generation would view it, this one has all the action and fun expected in a Bollywood film. Scene to scene copying of the original one would have made it a serious action film. Coming back to the story, Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Khanna (Ram Charan) is a brutally honest police ....

This action based film is about the gang wars in the hinterland between two rival groups of Satbir Gurjar and Mahender Fauji (a series of real life incidents) which ensued in Ghaziabad Directed by Anand Kumar, whose previous film was Delhi Heights, Vivek Oberoi teams up with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi for the first time. Zila Ghaziabad appears to be inspired from the super hit action features Omkara and Dabangg. Any occasion is greeted by trigger-happy gangsters. The film is filled with vendetta, gravity defying stunts, slitting throats, pumping bullets and the story begins with unnecessary use of action like exploding bombs in a song sequence as Arshad Warsi returns to Ghaziabad. We have two rival groups, led by the local Chairman (Paresh Rawal) and Rashid (Ravi Kissen), respectively whose henchmen are active in gang war sort of incidents. Chairman has a soft corner for Satbir (Viv ....

Mehmaan to Bhagwaan hota hai. Which implies that certain families in India treat a guest like a God. Incidently it is from Ashwini Dhir, who directed the 2010 hit film Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge which had a somewhat similar theme about a guest in the house. (Jassi) Ajay Devgn resides in the UK and gets an official note reminding him about his succession of his family property in Phagwara, Punjab in India. So he comes to India, and from Delhi, while alighting the train to Punjab, he comes across Sukh (Sonakshi Sinha).
