Ek Din - movie review
Aamir Khan’s latest production Ek Din introduces his son Junaid Khan in the lead, opposite acclaimed South Indian actress Sai Pallavi, making her Hindi film debut. The film is adapted from the Thai drama One Day and attempts to weave a delicate love story around memory, longing and chance encounters. Junaid Khan plays a shy office employee - Dino who quietly falls for his colleague Meera (Sai Pallavi). His hesitance keeps him from confessing, while Pallavi is already entangled with her boss, portrayed by Kunal Kapoor in a layered villainous role. A planned picnic trip takes an unexpected turn when Pallavi suffers partial amnesia. Circumstances leave her and Junaid together for a single day, and the film explores how that fleeting time reshapes their bond.
