This Bollywood thriller Login is an eye opener to the unexpected influences of the world wide web.

Login – Bollywood movie review

Login depicts various influences the online medium has on different individuals and how the ‘social networking’ sites bring a drastic change in their lives.

It is the story of Jai, a young office going guy who is on the lookout for a girl friend through on line dating sites.

It is about a housewife, Vandana, who started initially with spending her free time chatting on a social networking site. Now, she is addicted to it.

The third character is that of Debu who is working in a call centre and makes proper use of the Net – to make money!

Login is about how Internet has affected the lives of these three characters.

It is seen all around how the online medium has brought about a change in the attitudes of people. They sit for hours, glued to their screens and surfing or chatting on the internet. Personal interaction seems waning from the culture. This habit creates a person who is aloof, and in his own world. Eventually fragmenting them away from the world. From their near ones, neighbors, colleagues and even to the extent of distancing from their true selves.
