During the ongoing Cannes Film Market 2025, Taiwan’s leading film distribution company Vie Vision Pictures announced on-boarding the highly anticipated Indo-Taiwanese co-production “Demon Hunters” for exclusive distribution in Taiwan.

“Demon Hunters” marks the first-ever Indo-Taiwan action buddy comedy, merging the cinematic strengths of two vibrant film cultures in a genre-defying, cross-border adventure. Directed by acclaimed Taiwanese filmmaker Mei-Juin Chen, the film is produced by Light House Productions and Kleos Entertainment Group (KEG).

Set between India and Taiwan, the film follows an unlikely duo—a Taiwanese paranormal YouTuber & Indian tech engineer who are forced to team up to fight a supernatural force threatening both their worlds. With its mix of heart-pounding action, cross-cultural humor, and visually stunning backdrops, Demon Hunters aims to captivate audiences across Asia and beyond.

The film is currently in post-production, with a theatrical release targeted for Winter 2025. The ensemble cast includes Indian star lead Arjan Bajwa, Taiwanese leading man JC Lin, and legendary actor Jack Kao in a pivotal role.

“We are thrilled to partner with Vie Vision Pictures to bring Demon Hunters to Taiwanese audiences,” said Cindy Shyu, Producer & Founder, Light House Productions.

“Vie Vision’s commitment to the development of Taiwanese titles, globally resonant content makes them the ideal partner for this trailblazing project,” added Gayathiri Guliani, Co-Producer, Kleos Entertainment Group.

A spokesperson from Vie Vision Pictures remarked, “Demon Hunters is a cultural bridge and an exciting cinematic journey. The story is original, commercial, and culturally rich—exactly the kind of film that resonates with Taiwanese moviegoers.

With robust international sales interest and distribution talks underway in multiple territories, Demon Hunters is poised to be a standout title from Asia on the global stage.
