Hostel, movie review
Few Indians are aware of the number of suicides that occur in Indian Hostels as a result of the phenomenon termed as ‘Ragging’. This sadistic practice has become a ritual wherein students are beaten up, stripped, paraded naked, starved, tortured, molested and even raped by their seniors. Hostel movie review... Since victims of ragging find it humiliating to report sexual abuse to their parents or others, most ragging-related crimes go unreported. Munnabhai MBBS and even 3 Idiots had a scene or two about this suffering which is called as ragging. Thus, this cruel practice continues year after year and has claimed (and is still claiming) the lives and careers of innumerable students. The film ‘Hostel’ is a shocking eye-opener about this evil practice and is a wake-up call for all of us. Karan (Vatsal Seth), gets into an engineering college and takes up lodging in the so-ca ....

Vikalp, movie review
Vikalp is an action thriller which talks cyber crime, hacking and terrorism. The title – Vikalp, which means “an option” in English, is a film which could have been an edge-of-the-seat thriller, but it isn’t due to average editing and an amateurish attempt in direction. This Marathi medium background girl experiences turbulent times in her personal life too when her boyfriend's parents accuse her of using their son for seeking financial security. The self respecting girl is humiliated and heart-broken. Rishika c ....

Naughty at 40 - movie review
Naughty at 40 falls below expectations of a Govinda film and more so, since its directed by Jagmohan Mundhra. The production values are fine and there are many lovely locales of Manali, in Himachal Pradesh, India and quite a few scenic locations in London. Naughty at 40 movie review... Bollywood ought to wake up and realize merely including some crude and double meaning jokes with some scantily clad women prancing around, it cannot be called a sex comedy film. Happy (Govinda) is a 40 year old man living in London with his parents Laxminarayan 'Allan' Kapoor (Anupam Kher) and mother – Maya (Smita Jaykar). 'Allan' Kapoor is the richest Indian in London and now the parents want their son Happy to get married.
