Chittagong is an uplifting action-drama, a thriller which has its historical significance that is woven craftily into a story and creatively put forth in the audio visual medium through this film.
It is made more compelling by the fact that it is true.
In a little known incident in the 1930s British occupied India, a handful of untrained teenage boys and girls, led by a school teacher, handed the British their first military defeat.
Set against this backdrop, Chittagong is the story of the youngest and the most unlikely participant – a frail and diffident 14 old teenager, Jhunku Roy.
It portrays an incredible journey of a teenager, who battles nagging self-doubts and reluctance on one hand, and a formidable enemy on the other, to achieve an impossible triumph.

The ultimate revenge story - Makkhi
Makkhi movie review
The narrative of Makkhi s in the form of a bedtime story told by a father to his daughter. Its protagonist is Nani, who is in love with his neighbour Bindu. Nani is murdered by a wealthy businessman named Sudeep, who is attracted to Bindu and considers Nani a rival. Nani reincarnates as a housefly and tries to protect Bindu while avenging his death.
Makkhi - movie review
The film's main theme is revenge; the soul of a murdered man is reincarnated as a fly and seeks revenge against his killer. Rajamouli identified some similarities to David Cronenberg's The Fly (1986), in which a scientist becomes a fly when his experiment malfunctions, and thought of Makkhi as a "socio-fantasy" rather than a science fiction film.
At a meeting with students at the Annapurna International School of Film and ....

Her parents have fixed her engagement to Madhav (Subodh Bhave). There are some amusing moments in most of the ordinary situations.
Poor girl, she is torn between her family’s choice and the man she desires. Aiyyaa does have its sensitive moments portraying the plight ....

Priyadarshan, who recently made Aakrosh and Tezz, returns to the comic genre with KAMAAL DHAMAAL MALAMAAL (KDM). This one is not a sequel to his previous laugh riot Malamaal Weekly. It has a fresh idea and though it has rustic and rural backdrop, the village is haunted by a curse after the golden cross from the village Church was stolen.
Kamaal, Dhamaal, Malamaal- movie review
It has a highly talented cast, most of them masters of comedy, yet the formula fails to pick up. Priyadarshan tries his best to tickle your funny bone, which he fails this time.
Bakri Johny!! That’s the insinuating cry of every man, woman and child in this village when they see Johny (Shreyas Talpade).
Afraid of everything and everyone, Johny is one terrified soul. Born into the household of David (Om Puri), a local farmer and being the only son, Johny does what he’s best at to help his ailing fathe ....

It is an adaptation of the hugely popular gujarati play Kanji virudh(vs) Kanji. It has sensitive issues taken up, and it is a mockery of the so-called godmen and unfounded rituals.
Kanjibhai Mehta (Paresh Rawal) is an atheist, who runs an antique shop. For him, god and religion are nothing more than a business proposition. An astute businessman, he never misses an opportunity to buy old or antique sort of idols of gods and other religious idols, which he usually sells as ‘antique’ or ‘rare’ idols at 10 times its original price or even more.
The average and gullible buyer who is also a believer in god, truly wants to believe that these are actually centuries old and rare finds. God is the biggest money spinner for Kanjibhai, while his wife is as devout as one comes, infact so much so, that she goes the extra mile to atone for her husband’s sacrilegious babblings.
The life has ....
