The Frozen Ground is a thriller based on the real-life Alaskan hunt for serial killer Robert Hansen in the eighties. Written and directed by Scott Walker, it is based on the true story of a detective in Alaska, named as Sgt. Jack Halcome (Nicolas Cage) who is determined to end the killing of young women. The serial killer Hansen (John Cusack) stalked and murdered around 20 young girls and women. He first kidnapped them and then took them out to the Alaskan wilderness where he shot and buried them.
