This energetic bittersweet comedy, more accurately perhaps - drama with a sense of humour, Hulla turns a contemporary eye on something that is taken too much for granted in Indian cities, especially Mumbai – private space. The film Ru-Ba-Ru's publicity describes it as a romantic thriller which revolves around the relationship between a live-in couple caught amidst their busy professional careers.
