Donning the role of Bhaskar Shetty in the upcoming crime thriller Mum Bhai, Angad Bedi shot beside the creek side, breaking no sweat in the heat of Arabian city Dubai.

ALTBalaji & ZEE5 Club’s upcoming crime thriller Mum Bhai is making all the right buzz amongst the audience owing to its raw yet enticing plot and lead characters. The trailer of the show was well-received by the audience and a few sneak peeks of the characters have left fans asking for more. Depicting the underworld era, the narrative of the show revolves around the friendship between a cop and a criminal played by Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher respectively. With the story being set in the 80s and 90s, it’s no surprise to see Dubai being an integral part of the show with a crucial segment of it being shot there.

The protagonist Angad Bedi who plays Bhaskar Shetty, shot a few sequences of the series in the Gulf city. Sharing his experience on the same, Bedi commented, “Shooting in Dubai was extremely different. We quarantined for a day after being tested and then shot our sequence. It was good to see people maintaining social distance and being extremely careful due to coronavirus. We shot for 12 hours a day and I must say our crew pulled off a great sequence in the given time.”

The debonair actor also adds that shooting in Dubai has taken the show to greater heights in terms of scale. He adds, “Hats off to Ekta Kapoor, our producer, for believing in us and the show by elevating its grandeur.”

All set to stream on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club from 12th November, Mum Bhai is a crime drama that will dive into the Mumbai underworld. The narrative revolves around the friendship between a cop and a criminal, set in the milieu of Mumbai’s underbelly from the late eighties to early 2000.
