U R My Jaan is the directorial debut for Aron Govil, and is a simple love story about Reena and Akash who're opposites. Staying miles away from each other, still the business tycoon from New York and the Chandigarh girl are brought together by fate in Mumbai.

An aspiring female model from Chandigarh - Reena (Priti Soni) arrives in Mumbai to make it big in the glamour world. Remember Priyanka Chopra hopping to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams in the film – Fashion?

Anyway, Reena lies to her undecided parents about a photo shoot in Delhi, and she flies to Mumbai. She always yearned come out of her small town, more so because she is being nagged by her parents to get married.



 

In the meanwhile, Reena's parents take her back to Chandigarh to get her married.

Left alone and confused, Akash realizes he really loves the girl and flies to Chandigarh and reaches in time before her wedding takes place.

Mikaal Zulfikaar has a good screen presence and he looks the character of a tycoon. Priti Soni is beautiful as the aspiring model, but has to word hard in her acting department.

It is an interesting watch in first half of the film. Rest onwards it is predictable.

  



On arriving in this city of dreams, her modeling agent Sandy (Rajesh Khera) reveals that the shoot is cancelled and that she has to return. Poor girl, she will not get her conveyance back to her home town.

The model coordinator sweet-talks Reena to strike a 'compromise' with some producer-director but she refuses. But you need enough money to survive in this mega city.

This time, Sandy persuades Reena to become the escort for a NRI billionaire Akash Gupta (Mikaal), and this time she accepts the offer, bowing down due to the pressure.

The billionaire and the escort fall in love after some days. For both, it was the best time of their lives, and still Reena has maintained her distance from her rich client and it is clean love between them.

In their brief encounter, a vivacious & chirpy middle class Reena, who nurtures the dream of making it big in Bollywood, and the renowned, suave & ruthless billionaire Akash, who will go to any lengths when it's his business, manage to change each other's life forever.

The tycoon is a ruthless business magnet desires to acquire a company, without bothering much about those employees who will go jobless after the deal. Remember Pretty Woman? Here too, the escort imparts some human feeling in Akash to not acquire the company on humanitarian grounds.
