Debutant director Vishal Aryan Singh’s United Six is an
emotional action thriller based on the life of six girls
who come from different walks of life and how they plan
a bank robbery. A major portion of the film has been
shot in Bangkok and Pattaya and the male actors who are
just in supporting roles, are all from there. The movie
is essentially about the six leading actresses.
However, they continue in their mission and one by one,
on one pretext or the other, the girls start getting
jittery. Jia continues to motivate them but finds it
getting more and more difficult with every passing hour.
The meekest girl Maddy, keeps talking negatively and
attracts Jia's ire.
As time flies by, every one of the girls loses their zeal
and force Jia to call off the mission as they know that
they do not have any mental and physical energy left in
them.
Jia tries hard, but is unable to convince the rest of them
to pursue the mission, and finally they collectively
decide to call it a quit.
Shocking news await them the next morning when they see
the news on the TV that the bank got robbed in the night
and there is some lead that it points out to these six
girls who had quit their mission half way.

United Six is the story of six girls living in Bangkok and
they are Shaina (Parvathy Omanakuttan), Jia (Daisy Bopanna),
Maddy (Luna Lahkar), Tia (Mahi), Candy (Isha Batwe),
Tootsie (Pooja Sharma). They are going through a tough
phase in their lives. Their dreams have been shattered,
their aspirations crushed.
In this situation, out of frustration and out of anger,
they decide to rob a bank. One of the girls Jia is fired
from the bank for refusing to please her boss with his
personal favours. This Jia then convinces the other girls
and leads the pack to rob the bank where she worked.
They rent a bakery adjacent to the bank and start
digging a tunnel which would lead them to the strong room
of the bank. They start digging and soon find that it is
not as easy as it seemed like.
The group of these 6 girls is now in a strange situation.
They don't have any money left with them and the police in
on the lookout for them.
The local police close on them and these beauties keep in
running from one place to the other. The girls have to
reach the jetty where a launch guy would wait for them to
help them escape the country.
They just have a few hours of the night to have them
arrange the money to pay the launch guy as well as escape
the police to safely reach the jetty.
In a roller coaster ride throughout the night, these six
females escape the police, but lose one of them - Maddy on
the way.
Finally they manage to reach the jetty but without any
money with them - hoping for some miracle to happen. The
film lacks the pace, and has a meaningless story with a
premise that a bunch of betrayed and defeated girls
suddenly decide to rob a bank. And then for just silly
reasons they ditch the whole mission.
Worth mentionable are a few good action scenes directed by
Ron Smoorenburg and Kecha Jaika and the oomph and
freshness and earnest efforts of the girls. That’s it.
