Here is a film backed by Aditya Chopra with a debutant
director Bumpy who has modeled Luv ka The End on the
lines of those American teen love comedies. The concept
is quite similar to the English flick 'John Tucker Must
Die'. This romantic comedy is aimed to a generation
that's into chatrooms and social networking sites.
Rhea Dialdas (Shraddha Kapoor) has just finished her
Junior College and she has a fancy for Luv Nanda (Taaha
Shah), the richest, most popular boy in college. The
cute, lively girl frequently lets her emotions rule her
actions and is already dreaming about herself getting
married with him. She turns 18 in a day and has big
plans to take their relationship to the “next level”.
At this point Rhea comes to know thru her friend’s
brother that Luv is not as nice as she thought he was.
Now the upset teenager gathers her two best friends with whom she plots to
bring down Luv Nanda who had planned to deflower her – just to add points to
his profile on BBC. Rhea is out to get him by the balls, she has a plan up her
sleeve with her gal pals.
Rhea decides to not get mad, but to get even and bring Luv Nanda down!
All in the span of one night with the help of her friends. Buckle up for one
crazy night as the girls discover the meaning of love, life, friendship and
more...
Rhea with her sister’s help Minty (Jannat Zubair Rahmani) takes away
everything from the rich playboy, everything - how he attracts girls and now
has the aim of having Natasha instead of Rhea. Rhea creates havoc in Luv’s
life, she breaks his Car, ruins his date with Natasha, makes Luv drunk and
then comes the famous Mutton Song.

Luv Nanda is the coolest, hottest, richest and most
popular guy in school and every girl’s fantasy boyfriend.
Belonging to the powerful and rich Nanda family, Luv has
easily been making his way through almost every hot chick
in school, even the teachers have a crush on Luv. Rumour
has it he did it with Miss Naaz in the library.
Luv Nanda has something else in his mind. He fancies
winning the contest called BBC (Billionaire Boys Club),
which is a rage amongst billionaire boys. It is seen that
the boys upload videos/mms of themselves and the more you
do so you get points.
Luv Nanda was going to be the highest scorer this year. He
can win this contest only by getting Rhea into bed with
him on her 18th birthday eve. She goes along naively until
she realizes that it’s not love but points that Luv wants
to score.
It was a great idea, but the story was amateurish,
followed with poor execution. The performances were
something that saved the day. Shraddha Kapoor and Pushtiie
S and their gang are impressive. Rahul Pardasany was fine,
Taaha Shah was okay and the rest of them were quite
competent.
This film is targeted to a generation that generally lacks
focus, who are spontaneous and do not care about the
repercussions.
