Hello Hum Lallann Bol Rahe Hain is an offbeat movie with
Rajpal Yadav in the central role, and no other big names
to boast of. Lallan (Rajpal Yadav), a migrant to MumbOai,
who respects his work and is proud of it. His family is
in village, as he comes to Mumbai – the land of
opportunities, to make a living. Lallan is an honest guy
who is proud of his job, but suddenly his life goes
haywire!

When he comes to know that Saroja likes another boy and
is being married by her family members against her wishes , he takes it on
himself the responsibility of marrying her to the boy she likes, which includes
as much financial and emotional support as much as he could give for the girl.
Even after knowing this fact it did not bring any difference in Lallan’s concern
for Saroja. At one time, he even puts his life on test when she needs him.
Something which we have just seen in Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani.
Romance is a mere element in the narrative, in this film which has a larger
focus of highlighting social issues like financial plight of the lower-middle
class and even the Maharashtrians - UP bhaiya topic thrown in. There is no
glamour nor any item numbers in this flick.
The music by Surendra Sodhi and Vijay Verma has the combination of the sufi and
rock music. It appears somewhat soothing and pleasing to listen.

This hardworking and dutiful
guy has a dream to pursue. A dream of marrying his love of
life Saroja (Preeti Mehra). But this girl isn’t aware of
his love interest in her, and just considers him to be her
best friend and someone who cares a lot for her.
Though, Lallan stays in Mumbai, he remains in constant
touch with this girl Saroja - in his native place. Apart
from being an ideal service man, Lallan is also a very
good human who reaches and is always present whenever
someone needs him.
But as the usual life ka funda - Everything does not turn
out to be in the fashion in which we desire. Lallan’s
dreams are shattered when he comes to know that Saroja is
in love with some other boy.

Rajpal Yadav’s role reminds one of his performance in
"Main, meri patni aur woh". He plays his part fairly well
with honestly yet, is not very impressive.
It is a low budget film with some publicity; hence most of
the cinegoers would not be aware of this movie’s
existence. It is a cute and one time watchable movie.
It is an average film, and watchable only for Rajpal
Yadav’s performance who should be commended for accepting
this low budget flick. The other subtle characters played
by Manoj Joshi, Ketki Dave, Ravi Jhankal and others lend a
freshness to the film which has some humorous dialogues.
