Here is a real action thriller directed by Olivier Megaton, starring Irish actor Liam Neeson, American actresses Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen,  and Croatian Rade Šerbedžija.

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who stopped at nothing to save his abducted daughter in TAKEN. When he is targeted by a vengeance-seeking crime lord, Bryan must employ his “particular set of skills” to protect his family against an army out to kill them.

In Istanbul, Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter.

It begins with the funeral of the men whom Bryanhad killed when they had abducted his daughter (in the first part). Murad Hoxha (Rade Serbedzija) takes an oath to avenge his son’s death (who was killed by Bryan through electrocution).

Bryan learns from his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen), that she is currently having relationship problems with her husband. He wants his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) to pass the driving test at least this time being her third attempt. But she is not there at home, at that moment she is at her new boyfriend’s house.

Bryan tracks her and also learns that his ex wife’s husband have cancelled their holiday to China which leaves Kim and Lenore let down. So Bryan suggests that they join him for a holiday in Istanbul after he has finished his assignment.

Kim and Lenore were not expected to join him there, but they decide to give him a pleasant surprise. And then they re unite in Istanbul.

This is where the action starts, and till the end it is edge of the seat thrills. How he escapes and informs Kim to track them out. It is Kim, with her agility and sharpness that she gets to their parents is captivating.
